Which AI assistants can I use Storias in?

In ChatGPT, today: you can connect it yourself. In Meta Muse, not yet: Storias is in review with Meta and is not yet available there.

What can I do with Storias in an assistant?

You can see the looks, make a film from a link or a video you attach, check a film’s progress, check your credits and list your recent films. In ChatGPT, a card in the chat plays the finished film.

Is Storias in the ChatGPT app directory?

Not yet. Storias has been submitted to OpenAI’s ChatGPT app directory and is in review. Until it is listed, you can connect it yourself.

What does it cost?

A film uses your Storias credits: 1 credit for each second of the finished film, and at least 15 credits for a film. A film that fails is never charged. The assistant confirms with you before it spends any. Nothing is sold inside an assistant: when credits run short, it says how many you need and links to the pricing page.

Do I need a Storias account?

Yes. Any Storias account can connect, and credits are the only limit. You sign in with Storias and approve once, and you can disconnect anytime in Storias under Settings, then Connected apps.

Can developers build on Storias?

Yes. The Storias app is an MCP server at https://api.storiasai.com/mcp, and there is a REST API. The API docs list the endpoints, fields, errors and limits.
